At Southern Cross Elements all our elements are made to order in our Melbourne factory, by our experienced element maker, using the highest quality materials.
New and replacement elements for all kiln brands and models
All kiln manufacturers build their kilns a little differently. We have the element designs for many kiln models and can manufacture the replacement elements you need to keep your kiln in good working order.
Before we commence the manufacturing process, we will confirm the specifications of your kiln to ensure the elements we supply are suitable for your kiln. From our experience, not all elements are created equal. The top, middle and bottom elements may be different sizes, and the door elements too.

Custom elements made to your specifications
Sometimes a little shaping or stretching is all that is needed to get a standard element to fit your kiln. However, sometimes the manufacture of custom elements is required.
We are able to manufacture custom elements for your kiln.

Highest quality materials
All out elements are made with Kanthal A1 wire. Kanthal A1 wire is a ferritic iron-chromium-aluminium alloy for use at temperatures up to 1400°C.
Locally manufactured
All our elements are made in our Melbourne factory. If you’re local you can pick up your elements or use our installation service. Elements can also be shipped anywhere in Australia.
